A second of the three suspects in the shooting death of an Echo Park man on May 7 is now in custody.
Little information is being released about him because the investigation is ongoing, but, according to Lt. Wesley Buhrmester LAPD's Rampart Division, he is 21-year-old Hakop Sardaryan.
He was booked for murder at the Metropolitan Detention Center, with bail set at $2 million.
Man Murdered Was Extremely Well-Liked
Michael David, 30, was shot early in the morning on Sunset Boulevard near Lemoyne Street as was being chased by three men.
David worked at Trader Joe's in Silver Lake and was extremely well-liked.
His co-workers recently held and have created a bereavement fund in his honor.
Jeffrey Cardona, 23, has already been charged with murder, but police believe he is almost certainly not the shooter in the incident.
At the memorial, his mother expressed frustration at the slow pace of the investigation.
