Rampart Division Needs Help With Tree Planting Project

Volunteers are needed on June 3.

We take for granted the presence of Rampart division police in Echo Park.

But have you ever been down to see their digs at the new LAPD Rampart division station on Sixth Street?

It's pretty darn spiffy looking, with a nice green lawn and a super-modern exterior.

Here's a great excuse to drop by: a morning of tree-planting on June 3 around the station and the nearby neighborhood.

The trees come from Million Trees LA and sponsor Korean Area. The planting starts at 9 a.m.
