Reader Andrew Kersey, who lives near Sunset Boulevard and Fountain Avenue near the Vista Theater,  reported the lights came on for him by 11 p.m.

He told us in an email:

A huge portion of Sunset and surrounding streets were down for a couple hours. Couldn't easily find an open restaurant.

LADWP crews will be working again Friday morning, which could cause some intermittent black outs for some customers, according to a LADWP spokesperson.
