Power Outage in Echo Park Early Monday

Local Tweeters were talking in the dark after the outage, which began around 1:30 a.m. It continued for several hours, leaving as many as 3,400 without power.

Folks were tweeting up a storm early Monday morning after power went out in parts of Echo Park.

Kelly Smith of Echo Park Now was one of the first with this, around 1:30 a.m. when the outage started:

The EastsiderLA brought the good news around 3 a.m. that some of the power has been restored to the 3,400 without it, with others chiming in on comments there to confirm soon after.
