Police Seeking 101-Year-Old Missing Man

Lazaro Alfonso Gamez was last seen by his caregiver Wednesday morning.

Police and family are requesting the public's help in finding a missing 101-year-old man who hasn't been heard from since Wednesday morning.

The caregiver for Lazaro Gamez last attempted to reach him Saturday evening at 6:30 p.m., according to a Rampart Division release. When Gamez didn't respond, officers were called to the location and Gamez was not found there.

According to the release, Gamez suffers from dementia and is in poor mental condition. He is 5 feet 4 inches tall, 110 pounds with a thin build. He also has gray hair and brown eyes.

Gamez also walks with a cane and likes to ride the bus. He frequents the 99 Cent store at 3600 W. Sunset Blvd. as well as the Grand Central Market in downtown Los Angeles.

There is no evidence of any foul play at this time.
