Update: Police have issued a composite sketch of a man they are seeking in connection with an attempted kidnapping in Cypress Park Thursday morning.
Officer Daniel Rios of LAPD's Northeast Division said officers are still looking for the suspect in the kidnapping attempt that occurred at around 8 a.m. near Cypress Avenue and Silver Street.
Rios said the suspect was driving an older red work truck at the time. He added that the man was scratched in the face by the 16-year-old girl he attempted to kidnap.
"That should make him more recognizable," Rios said.
