Traffic snarled near the Glendale Boulevard onramp to the 2 Freeway Thursday afternoon after a white pickup truck went off the northbound side on its way to the 5 Freeway interchange.
Captain Tom Kitahata of Los Angeles Fire Department Station 20 said he received a call at 3:10 p.m. that units were needed.
When rescuers arrived, Kitahata told Patch, the female driver and her four passengers were already out of the Nissan Tundra, which came to rest on its four wheels.
The truck appeared to have rolled down the embankment off the freeway, Kitahata said, citing roof damage but no serious injuries to either the driver or the passengers.

Kitahata said three children and two adults were taken to nearby hospitals by rescue units from stations 20, 56, 11 and 82.
Kitahata said California Highway Patrol and Los Angeles Police Department officers were also on the scene and are still investigating what may have caused the accident.
Note: an earlier version of this story referred to the accident as happening Tuesday afternoon.
