'Octomom' Nadya Suleman Headed to Court Monday for Welfare Fraud

A preliminary hearing date is scheduled Monday morning for "Octomom" Nadya Suleman, who gained fame when she gave birth to octuplets in 2009.

Suleman is charged with welfare fraud for allegedly failing to report nearly $30,000 in earnings from personal appearances and video residuals.

The 38-year-old mother of 14, whose real name is Natalie Denise Suleman, was charged Jan. 6 with one count of aid by misrepresentation and two counts of perjury by false application by aid.

She will report to a Los Angeles court at 8:30 a.m.
