LAPD Looking for Suspects After Giants Fan Roughed Up On Opening Day

LAPD's Northeast Division is asking for the public's help in providing any information that would lead to the arrest of two suspects who injured a 41-year-old man Thursday night.

According to the LAPD's Northeast division, most fans kept their cool Thursday during Opening Day despite the heat.  But two young Dodger fans leaving the stadium after their team defeated the Giants 2-1 couldn't quite keep it together.

Just before 8:30 p.m. they began taunting several Giants fans.  The group tried to walk away, but one of them was hit from behind and fell to the ground. The suspects then kicked the 41-year-old victim, striking out at the victims' friends who tried to intervene.

The victim was transported to a local hospital and was treated for a head injury. He is in critical but stable condition. The other victims were treated for minor injuries and released at the scene.
