The Los Angeles Fire Department Monday asked Los Angeles residents to complete an online survey to help develop a community-driven strategic plan.
The department is seeking to learn the public's priorities, expectations and areas of concerns, according to LAFD Battalion Chief John Drake.
LAFD is teaming up with EmpowerLA to get the word out to members of the community. The partnership between the two city departments is the first of its kind to develop an optimal service model.
The process went live at the Los Angeles Neighborhood Council Coalition (LANCC) meeting when Battalion Chief John Drake and Capt. Kristin Crowley presented the plan to leaders from all 95 Neighborhood Councils.
