L.A. Man Threatens to Shoot Someone for 100 Retweets on Twitter

Dakkari McAnuff was arrested around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, after police learned of his Twitter account, authorities said.

A 20-year-old man accused of posting photos on Twitter showing a rifle pointed toward Los Angeles streets, each with the caption "'100 RT's (Re-Tweets) and i'll shoot someone walking," was behind bars today on suspicion of making criminal threats.

Dakkari McAnuff was arrested around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, after police learned of his Twitter account, authorities said.

Officers took McAnuff into custody at his residence in the 700 block of Ninth Street, where an air rifle was discovered, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

He was booked at the LAPD's Central Station on suspicion of making criminal threats, and was being held in lieu of $50,000 bail, police said.
