Killer of Westlake Woman Sought
Lorri Ann Anderson was shot at Eighth and Coronado Street on Tuesday evening for no apparent reason.
A gunman who got out of a dark-colored sedan, approached a 51-year-old woman west of downtown and shot her for no apparent reason remained at large today.
Lorri Ann Anderson, a resident of the Westlake area of Los Angeles, was shot at Eighth and Coronado streets about 9:40 p.m. Tuesday, said Officer Norma Eisenman of the LAPD's Media Relations Section.
She was found in the street and taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.

Homicide detectives from the Rampart Division have not determined a motive for the shooting.
