Assaults Jump -- Violent Crime Alert in Echo Park

10 incidents of violent crime in the last week were almost four times the recent average.

6 aggravated assaults were among the 10 violent crimes in Echo Park between May 19 and May 25.

That's significantly higher than the 3-month average of 2.5.

Meantime, property crime were just below the 3-monthly average of 14.8, with 13 crimes reported, mostly auto-related.
