Interview: Ramirez Attorney Anthony Brooklier -- LAPD "Acted in Good Faith"

Brooklier has long argued that his client Giovanni Ramirez was not at the opening day game where a Giants fan was brutally beaten.

Echo Park Patch caught up Friday with Anthony Brooklier, an attorney for Giovanni Ramirez, now exonerated in the brutal beating of Giants fan Bryan Stow.

Brooklier had just finished participating in a press conference involving several investigators in the case, as well as Soledad Gonzalez,  Ramirez's mother.

Later that afternoon, LAPD Chief Charlie Beck formally announced that Ramirez was no longer a suspect in the case.

In the accompanying video, Brooklier talks about his early concerns about the evidence against Ramirez, as well as his belief that the LAPD acted in good faith in making the arrest.

He also details the evidence the team provided to the LAPD and explains that much of the legal work was donated.
