Fire Service Recognition Day Coming to Silver Lake

The Los Angeles Fire Department will host Fire Service Recognition Day events at various neighborhood fire stations on Saturday, May 10, including in Silver Lake.

Participating locations

  • Fire Station 27 and the LAFD Museum in Hollywood, 1327 N. Cole Ave.
  • Fire Station 56 in Silver Lake, 2759 Rowena Ave.
  • Fire Station 63 in Venice, 1930 Shell Ave; Fire Station 65 in Watts, 1801 E. Century Blvd.
  • Fire Station 69 in Pacific Palisades, 15045 Sunset Blvd.
  • Fire Station 86 in Studio City, 4305 Vineland Ave.
  • Fire Station 88 in Sherman Oaks, 5101 N. Sepulveda Blvd.
  • Fire Station 94 in Baldwin Hills, 4470 S. Coliseum St.
  • Fire Station 112 in San Pedro, 444 S. Harbor Blvd
All fire stations will begin open houses at 10 a.m., with presentations on smoke alarms and "Hands-Only CPR," for the "Fire Burns. Smoke Kills," campaign.
