Elysian Park Trail Closed After Animal Remains Found

A decapitated pig and a racoon were found near the hiking trail near Dodger Stadium.

The trail in Elysian Park near Dodger Stadium popular with hikers and dogwalkers was closed Tuesday morning.

The body of a large pig and raccoon were found near the entrance of the trail off Academy Road near Park Drive.

According to the Eastsider, bodies of other animals have been found along the trail.
