The Eastsider LA says traffic officers were spotted along Sunset Boulevard near Lemoyne Street in Downtown Echo Park directing traffic after signal lights went out.

Luckily, weather is cooler than it has been, with temperatures around 80 degrees mid-afternoon.

As usual, Twitter was a place to express outrage and inconvenience, with one tweeter noting his car was trapped in his garage.
