Echo Park Lake Cam: Monday, July 18, 2011

This photo captured near dusk shows that the pedestrian activity around Echo Park Lake shows no sign of slowing down.

A steady stream of activity encircled the lake. The sidewalk  remains intact just beyond the green fence.

Folks were running, walking, chatting, saying "hello."

One young lady suggested that the walkway might seem more crowded because "people have no other place to go."

That seems like a good way to explain the constriction.

Meantime, just behind the fence the remaining birdlife seemed in good spirits.
