Echo Park Earthquake?
There was an earthquake Thursday centered just outside Newhall that's now being said to measure 4.2 on the Richter scale.
UPDATE: Seismologists have revised their rating of the quake's intensity. They now say it was 4.2 on the Richter scale.
EARLIER: We had another earthquake Thursday. It was a small one—4.3—but a big deal on this slow news day.

The earthquake hit at 1:47 p.m. and was centered out in Newhall. It was felt all the way to La Canada. No damage has been reported.
