A 10-year-old girl who was reported missing by her mother Friday in the Echo Park area has been safely located early Saturday morning, according to police.
"She was at a sleepover at a friend's house," said Sgt. Michael Maibe at the Rampart Station, who added that the girl was found at 4:45 a.m.
Earlier Saturday, the police has asked for the public's help in finding Yaiza Cuevas.
