At least three fires set late Saturday along Sunset in Hollywood.

The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating a series of trash fires they believe one man was responsible for igniting Saturday night.

The first trash fire was started around 10:46 p.m., according to authorities at the Hollywood Community Station. The first fire occurred near Sunset Blvd. and North Fuller Avenue. A second fire was ignited nearby.

Authorities were still in the area investigating as of midnight.

Although it was not immediately known to officers at the station at the time of publication, the second fire was reportedly started within minutes near Sunset Blvd. and North Poinsettia Place, according to the LAScanner Twitter feed. The location of the third fire was not immediately known.

A possible suspect is described as a male Black, about 5 feet 10 inches. He wore a dark hooded sweatshirt and was reportedly seen walking eastbound.
