Subtle changes continue to be felt at the Echo Park Lake construction site.

A children's playground is just about complete. It has umbrellas for sun protection.
And the Lady of the Lake is back in her original southern looking place, with her damaged hands restored.
We checked in with Michelle Vargas of the city's Department of Public Works, which is managing the project.
She told us that no specific date has yet been set for the lake's re-opening.
The department hopes to announce that at a community meeting (to be scheduled in March).
As Michelle notes, "Stay tuned."
