Selvedge Fashion Truck to celebrate 1-year anniversary at Taza Café in Echo Park!

Selvedge Dry
Goods
is excited to announce the celebration of
its 1-Year Anniversary on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at Taza Café, located at 1825 W.
Sunset Blvd. in Echo Park.


The turquoise truck, which is making its monthly residency

every second Saturday of each month at Taza Café, is inviting all of Los

Angeles to celebrate with them from 10 am to 4 pm. The anniversary celebration

is free to attend and open to the general public.

Selvedge Dry Goods is Los Angeles first eco-friendly fashion truck,

setting up shop throughout Los Angeles and Orange County. Every product we

carry must have an element of sustainability, whether it is fair trade, locally

made, vintage, re-claimed or re-constructed clothing.

Be sure to come and enjoy
Taza Café’s warm horchatte and guava cheese pastry while simultaneously sifting
through Selvedge’s re-constructed vintage clothing, handmade jewelry, leather
handbags and accessories all offered on the turquoise truck. Enjoy some tunes by DJ Shawn
V and DJ Vandal while snapping shameless selfies with your friends at the
complimentary photo booth.

Founded by a FIDM graduate and Latina entrepreneur Monique Cruz. Selvedge Dry Goods has made local, national & international press, including Metro InternationalAnnenberg Radio News and Canyon News. For dates, hours and locations of the truck whereabouts are posted on social media each week, as well as new arrivals and truck photos.

The mobile movement is growing, due to low
start-up costs and overhead, and allows sellers the ability to take the shop to
the customer. Monique’s diesel-powered fashion truck is an 18-foot box truck,
which was previously used by a mobile mechanic. It has been transformed from
it’s previous, oily self into a full boutique, complete with air conditioning,
pipe racks, a fitting room and cash register. To see the renovation process,
