This summer the Mayor's Office of Economic Development is hosting a series on Disaster Awareness for the small business community.
In collaboration with the Emergency Management Department and the U.S. Small Business Administration Los Angeles Region, we are hosting a series of events for small business owners and community stakeholders to learn about the city's disaster preparedness and tour the state-of-the-art Emergency Operations Center (EOC).

This is an exciting opportunity to get information on the city’s disaster preparedness and the role small businesses play in helping the city “Stay open for Business.” We will also Tour the “Safest Building in the City,” the state-of-the-art Emergency Operations Center (EOC). The building is the city’s point of primary coordination for disaster management.
