Community Corner

Freedom Riders Film Screening

The Edendale Branch Library will be hosting a conversation on the fight to integrate bus lines in the South as depicted in the film Freedom Riders on Saturday, May 24 at 2 p.m.

Throughout the month of May we will be screening the film Freedom Riders. On May 24 we will be discussing the film and how the story it tells can inform our response to challenges to equality and civil rights that we face today. This will be an open conversation, and we are hoping members of the community will join us in watching the film and raising issues during the discussion that are of concern to them.
