Lutosławski Centenary: Salonen conducts Lutosławski and Beethoven

This change will allow Esa-Pekka Salonen and the LA Phil to record the Lutoslawski, Symphony No. 1 live for future release via Sony Classical.   In honor of the 100th anniversary of Lutoslawski’s birth, Sony will be reissuing the existing Salonen/LA Phil recordings of Lutoslawski Symphonies 2, 3, and 4, along with this new recording of the 1st symphony.  The recording of Lutoslawski’s Symphony No. 1 on this program is being generously underwritten by a The Mickiewicza Institute in Poland.
