Our celebration of the new continues as Glorya Kaufman Presents Dance at The Music Center welcomes the Southern California premier of a new work by visionary dancemaker Alonzo King. King's own company, LINES Ballet, partners up with one of America's leading contemporary companies, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, to bring this new piece to life as it embodies his dynamic and expressive authenticity described as "the most sophisticated modernism in classical ballet." This engagement is sure to be a powerful pairing of two dance companies that wed flawless ensemble unity to fierce individuality.
