The winner has not yet claimed the prize .How and WHERE will the winner spend it?

Locals seem to be liking the news that a Mega Millions ticket worth $56.6 million was sold in Cypress Park.

Lottery officials say the $1 ticket--with the winning numbers 3, 19, 21, 44, 45 and mega-number 29--was sold at Convenience Retailers at 2250 N. Figueroa St.

The winner--who has not yet cashed in--has 60 days to do so.

Immediately, friend Eli Martin weighed in: "Wow......so wish it would've been me."

Alexander David Rossi added: "Congrats to the winner... Hopefully they spend some of the money in their current 'hood before they move to Malibu."

Apparently, the store owner too gets a cut of the prize.

This led FishBowl LA's Richard Horgan to ponder on our Facebook: "If you're the lucky ticket seller, do you stay in Cypress Park or do you also relocate...and re-open as Malibu Convenience Retailers?"

We'll keep an eye on all of this for you.
