The Satellite Curates Free Lunch Series in Downtown L.A.
Grand Performances' "Lunch Box" series kicks off Friday at noon with The Entrance Band.
According to Satellite booker Jennifer Tefft, Grand Performances reached out to the Silver Lake Boulevard club for help in curating a free noontime series.
The eight-show season will feature "some of L.A.'s best up-and-coming indie rock, pop and folk groups (with the exception of one New Yorker who has no place to go."
Tefft says the series is a great way to maintain relationships with artists who may have outgrown the club.
