Silver Lake's Berlin Currywurst Keeps Growing

The Silver Lake restaurant, known for its organic German currywursts, will open a second location in Hollywood soon.

Berlin Currywurst will soon serve up its take on the popular German street food in Hollywood.

Owners Hardeep and Lena Manak are scheduled to open the restaurant's second location, at 1620 North Cahuenga Blvd., sometime in the first week of December.

In addition to its organic German currywursts, the spot will also feature 12 beers on tap, as well as German wines.

Berlin Currywurst will face competition from Curryworst on Fairfax, near the Farmer's Market, with which it is sometimes confused.
