Magic Gas Is Gone: What's Next?

As predicted the Magic Gas sign came down, late Saturday. Will Echo Fuels rise in its place?

Earlier this week we reported on some disturbing changes going on at the corner of Morton and Echo Park avenue.

We had heard that Echo Fuels would also be changing out the Magic Gas sign.

And Saturday that change too began: the Magic Gas sign came down- as you can see in Gary  Leonard's photos, attached.

We're waiting for a Sunday sunrise and a chance to snap what might have taken its place

Signage at the corner has been changed in th epast -- to "Magic Fuels" in 2009 -- but after public outcry, was changed back.
