Silver Lake's Baller Hardware has kept a very low profile on the Internet.
A Hyperion Avenue institution since 1959, it has no Web site.
We also discovered Baller had no discernable email address when we tried to reach out that way a few months ago.
But now, Baller has a blog.
Launched Tuesday, Dec. 18, the intial posting at 10:47 a.m. says it will feature "tips, tricks and special offers."

Still no sign of an email contact, but we are hopeful after this new development.
Baller, of course, is a place where you can buy everything from metal siding to metal trashcans--and get a key made while they mix you up some paint.
