Saturday's $15M SuperLotto Winner Still Hasn't Claimed Prize

When we checked Tuesday that was so, and, apparently, it remains so Wednesday, according to the EastsiderLA.

Perhaps you've heard.

The winning ticket for Saturday's $15 million dollar drawing was sold at Echo Park's House of Spirits-

No one's stepped forward to claim it yet, but it's tempting to wonder if the SuperLotto winner might too be from Echo Park.

As first reported Tuesday on our Twitter feed, California Lottery spokesman Elias Dominguez told us that big winners often wait to claim their prize.

After all, they have 180 days to do so.

They may be bringing in lawyers and, possibly, financial advisors.

Echo Park Patch readers commenting on Facebook too seemed surprised that now one's yet stepped up.

But at least one said a local winner could be a boon for local philanthropy.

We've asked Mr. Dominguez to let us know as soon as that person does check in with a local lottery office or through the mail.

Once again, that winning lottery number was:2, 8, 10, 15, 11 and the Mega number was 12.
