This Thursday, check out our sixth session of Echo Park Jazz's benefit series for 826LA featuring the big band, gypsified Django-jazz of Noah & the Megafauna.
Fronted by ex-Oliver Future frontman Noah Lit, the band steps into the smoky realm of Eastern European jazz and American blues. Sweet like Sazarac, savory like a cigar, it's the perfect music for the recent resurgence of artisan cocktails and downtown speakeasies.
Opening the show will be ZaubNasty, an electrifying Persian jazz rock outfit, fronted by eclectic guitarist Toofun Golchin.
Join us for some great underground jazz and help support 826LA's amazing efforts to provide tutoring services for kids in Echo Park and beyond.
