Volunteers Needed at the Echo Park Film Center
Locals asked to volunteer a few hours per month.
The Echo Park Film Center is looking for volunteers.
The center, which offers classes on topics including filmmaking and editing, has a host of volunteer opportunities available.
A ticket taker, who is available on Thursday nights from 7:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. is wanted for the center’s weekly “Microcinema” night in which experimental and documentary films are shown.

The center is also in need of a volunteer Social Network Coordinator to post events on social media. A Membership Coordinator who can help recruit new members and work on membership renewal as well as possibly has Filemaker Pro or graphic design experience is needed as well as a Fundraising Coordinator and an Information Technology Coordinator to oversee the center's Mac Computers.
Volunteers must commit three to six hours of their time per month, depending on the requirements of each position.
