Video: Silver Lake Resident Honored for Community Service

Stephanie Vendig raised her family in Silver Lake and helped found the Griffith Park Adult Community Club. She was honored earlier this week with the Neighborhood Council's 4th History Collective award.

Watch the video above and see Silver Lake resident Bea Gold present the  fourth SLNC History Collective Award to Stephanie Vendig at the monthly Governing Board meeting on Wednesday, June 6th at Micheltorena School.

(Also helping out are Cheryl Revking and SLNC member Michael Masterson.)

The award is given to people and/or organizations that have made substantial contributions to our community either through historic preservation or significant community involvement.
