The meeting will offer residents a chance to give input on parks and recreation areas, including along the Los Angeles River.

The Los Angeles Department of Recreation and Parks on Wednesday evening will hold a community open house meeting at in Glendale to solicit feedback from residents.

According to organizers, the meeting is designed to allow community members to provide input to help the department "determine methods to increase its annual budget for operations and maintenance over the next five years." The meeting is one of many to be held all across Los Angeles.
