Thursday morning's fire in the forests north of Glendora has forced evacuations for nearby towns, but smoke from the blaze that's drifted for miles into Echo Park sent many rushing to their cameras.

The aftermath of the 1,700-acre brusher in the Angeles National Forest, dubbed the Colby Fire, has made its way to the neighborhood and created a somewhat apocalyptic scene in the skies above.
