Echo Park-Silver Lake Patch readers continue to wonder when the Echo Park Lake will reopen.
The scheduled opening date remains May 2013, and from the looks of things in the above aerial photo from Gary Leonard things are on track.
Can you see the many layers and levels for mini-wetlands created by the white fencing?
Also the concrete wall built to fortify the edge of the lake?
Those are some of the last major steps, especially with the rainy season just ahead.
