Park Your Ride: Walk, Stroll, Skate or Bike
Photographer Gary Leonard stepped out to the corner of Echo Park Avenue and Sunset Boulevard on Sunday and discovered five good reasons to leave your car at home.
Despite its well-earned reputation as a car-centric city, there are pockets of Los Angeles that are pedestrian-friendly. On most days, the intersection of Echo Park Avenue and Sunset Boulevard in Echo Park is a hub of foot traffic -- and, as our on-the-go photographer Gary Leonard discovered, a prime place for spotting alternative methods of transportation. So, walk, stroll, skate or scoot, but whatever you do, park the ride at home.
