The bird had been wandering Echo Park Avenue on Wednesday.

It waited, fittingly, for a time at Chicken Corner near the specialty market , but was eventually returned to its owner.

When Echo Park worlds collide: lucky for this lost "rescue" chicken, that means organic fennel snacks from Cookbook next door.

Perhaps, though owner Marta Teegen says it was someone else at Chicken Corner who made the rescue.
