More people were arrested for drunk driving in Los Angeles County this Labor Day weekend than last year.
The total number of traffic fatalities in the county dropped, however.
According to Data from the California Highway Patrol, 259 people were arrested this year between 6 p.m. Friday and 6 a.m. Monday.
That's up from 227 last year.
Traffic deaths during that same period dropped, with just 1 death this year, compared to 3 last year.
