Four Echo Park Residents to Perform With Dance Company At Hollywood Bowl

Four residents of Echo Park, who are dancers with the modern acrobatic dance company Diavolo Dance Theater, will be performing in Music by Glass – Dance by Diavolo, with accompanying music Fluid Infinities, performed by the LA Philharmonic, premiering at the Hollywood Bowl on Sept. 5.

Dusty Alvarado, Alicia Garrity, Brandon Grimm and Amy Tuley perform with the Diavolo Dance Theater company which focuses on movement as a way to explore the relationship between the dangers of reality and the fragility of the human body.  

According to the press release, Fluid Infinities is the final installment in L’Espace du Temps, a trilogy of commissions from the Los Angeles Philharmonic. The first, Foreign Bodies, looks at the cycle of life. The second, Fearful Symmetries, ends with the dancers looking into the future. Fluid Infinities will represent the future the dancers from the second installment are looking into.
