Elysian Park's Hidden Playgrounds

Beautiful, fun places to play in Elysian Park.

Not many Echo Park parents know about these playgrounds. Hidden inside the east part of Elysian Park, they are beautiful with lush vegetation and breathtaking views.

We welcome spring with this special gallery.

There are three others, one south of the Elysian Reservoir, where Park Row meets that unnamed street. The other one lies at the farthest east of the park, at the very end of Elysian Park Drive coming from Broadway. The last one is at the Casanova St. entrance to the park, just east of the Solano Canyon Community Garden. My son, Charles, and I enjoy all of them!
