Echo Park to Santa Monica Walk Captured in Time Lapse Video
The time lapse video captures the 18-mile Great Los Angeles Walk.
For those that could not make the 18-mile trek from Echo Park to Santa Monica during the Great Los Angeles Walk on Nov. 23, the event's organizer has you covered.
Local blog Franklin Avenue, which organizes the annual walk, recently posted a 14-minute time lapse video of the entire walk shot with a GoPro camera.
According to Franklin Avenue, participant Will Campbell captured the walk by snapping a photo every two seconds for a total of 12,790 frames. The time lapse video compresses 7.5 hours of walking into just over 14 minutes.
