PETA to Host Kids Party With Vegan Author

The new West Coast headquarters of the animal rights group in Echo Park invites families to stop by for vegan ice cream and a book signing.

Author Ruby Roth will read from her new book, Vegan Is Love, "which introduces young readers to veganism as a lifestyle of compassion and action."

There will also be vegan ice cream and crafts, as well as a youth-activist station.
