Celebrate Father's Day in Hollywood and Echo Park

Some events going on in and around Hollywood and Echo Park with fathers in mind.

If you're still trying to figure out what to do for Father's Day, there are plenty of options in Hollywood, Echo Park to choose from.

Here is a list of just a few of the places to consider:

Father and Son Mixology at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. This event begins at 4 p.m. in the hotel's Library Bar. Head bartender, Chris Hewes will be joined by his father, award-winning mixologist, James Hewes who is a staple bartender at the Willard Hotel in Washington D.C. The Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel is located at 7000 Hollywood Blvd. 

Vintage Enoteca will host an "All-American Snack Food Mash-up & Wine Tasting Event" beginning at 7 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. It will feature “three low-brow snack food favorites re-imagined with a dash of sophistication and paired with three boutique wines,” according to owner Jennifer Moore. Some of the offerings include: an oreo trifle and cream of corn cracker jack brittle soup. The tasting is $30 per person. Reservations are not required but are recommended. Masa of Echo Park will offer brunch, lunch and dinner on Sunday, and a free pint of Guinness, or another drink if your father desires, with any meal Dad orders. The restaurant will be open from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. and is located at 1800 West Sunset Blvd.

ATX by Kitchen 12000 is serving up barbecue all day long for Father’s Day. The cost is $25 for adults and $12 for children and $5 for draft beers. The restaurant will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. ATX by Kitchen 12000 is located at 3245 Casitas Ave.
