5 Things to Know: Pot Holes, Campfire, Hit and Run

  1. The Greater Echo Park Elysian Neighborhood Council this week is asking Echo Park residents to submit their picks for the worst local pot holes ahead of a December visit by the Los Angeles Bureau of Street Services. Find out how to submit your problem potholes here.
  2. Watch the sunset with neighbors, friends, and family around the campfire tonight beginning at 4 p.m. at Vista Hermosa, 100 N. Toluca Street, Los Angeles.   3. A man was hospitalized with several broken bones early Tuesday morning after he was struck by an SUV in a hit-and-run accident while walking in a crosswalk across a street in Echo Park, police said. Police are looking for help in finding the vehicle that fled the scene.
