Suspects Arrested on 101 Freeway in Echo Park Shooting
Police arrest three and possibly four suspects, causing a temporary freeway closure.
At least three suspects were arrested when their car matched the description of a car used in an attempted assault on Monday, 5:20 p.m., at Echo Park Avenue and Duane Street, according to City News Service.

Los Angeles Police Department Officer Karen Rayner says shots were fired, but it it’s not clear whether anyone was hit.

The car was stopped near Sunset Boulevard. The arrest prompted closure of a portion of the northbound 101 Freeway, which was re-opened by 5:45 p.m.
