It's called "Overheard in Silver Lake" and appears to be done anonymously.

I don't have a job right now, but I had this idea that I could break up mirrors and make disco balls and sell them for cash.

It's short. It's simple. And it feels, for the most part, really real:

We're talking about the new website Overheard in Silver Lake. Both items above appeared there recently.

Based on Tumblr, it's an epigrammatic diary of the nabey things the creator overhears while working at a "popular Silver Lake business."

We reached out by email to find out more, say, the name of the business or the producer of the site.

We failed, but we did learn this:

I work at a popular business in Silver Lake, and in doing so, I have the pleasure of overhearing hilarious/disturbing/telling social commentary on a daily basis. Only 3 of the quotes on the tumblr so far are fabricated (although based on real things I have overheard). My intent is to keep it truthful.
